The intrigue and rugged beauty of Komodo is unlike any other place on Earth; it is truly the place that time forgot. Take a guided trek and see Komodo Dragons, water buffalo, deer, and crab-eating macaques in their natural habitat. Experience local life during a visit to a village. Have a close encounter with playful dolphins on your kayak and witness the unique beauty of Komodo’s pink sand beaches. Fancy a private dinner on an deserted beach? Just let the chef know what you would like to eat and everything else will be taken care of! Snorkelling in the marine park is truly remarkable. You'll have the chance to a remarkable variety of sea life without having to dive! This is truly a once in a lifetime opportunity to experience the very best of Komodo.

Note: Guests are requested to pay a harbor clearance and a Komodo Park entrance fee of € 120 per person to support management of the park.

Under Water

The nutrient-rich waters sustain prolific coral reefs.  In some sites every available surface is covered with an astonishing display.  We’ll drift over pristine reefs that go on and on, swim around coral draped pinnacles, and float into ancient hard coral gardens.  Reef fish are abundant, along with moray eels, cuttlefish, octopus, stingrays, hawksbill and green turtles, and all kinds of macro life.  Eagle rays, devil (mobula) rays, and manta rays all pass by - and occasionally we get a surprise visit from something bigger out in the deeper water.  For those keen on current there are exhilarating drifts and submerged seamounts where we’ll wait where the current splits and watch as the predatory pelagics come in to hunt.  We commonly see reef sharks, big schools jacks, tuna, and barracuda.
